The course is delivered in 2 sessions to allow delegates to prepare and review their own budgets between the sessions.
It is held in the Community Room on the Ground Level at the Garratt Street Centre, 23 Garratt Street, Wanniassa. Parking available at the Wanniassa Shops and a footpath leads to the side entrance to the building. There is a convenient bus stop at the Wanniassa.Shops.

Class times
2024 is the second year of a two year course being delivered on Wednesday evenings, 7:30 – 9:00 pm and will usually run for 5 weeks followed by a break with extra breaks for school holidays with a longer break in the winter.
Students who have completed the first year are eligible to attend and the tutor will be contacting them about re-enrolment and payment of second year fees.
2024 dates are:
- 6 March to 3 April
- 8 May to 12 June
- 4 September to 25 September 2024
- 23 October to 4 December 2024
Class format
Classes start promptly at 7:30pm and finish at (or very close to) 9:00 pm. Classes include a 30-35-minute lecture/discussion session, followed by a break for refreshments, and then a further 30-35-minute lecture session.
Access and Parking
Access to the building is through the gates facing Garratt Street or from the walkway from the Wanniassa Shopping Centre. Ample, free car parking is available in Garratt Street Centre forecourt and basement carparks and close nearby at the Wanniassa Shopping Centre

Pack your picnic lunch or grab take away and come to the church picnic at the Kambah Adventure Playground, Springbett Street, Kambah.
Bring your own food and seating
Parents are requested to supervise your own children at all times and, if you allow them to use the play equipment.
The adventure playground is designed for all ages. It features junior and senior flying foxes, giant swings, space net, accessible liberty swing, accessible birds nest swing and mound slides.
Dogs are welcome on-leash as outlined on the dog exercise area map and are prohibited within 10 metres of a public play space, fireplace or barbecue in use.
